Shree Digambar Jain Balika Vidyalaya is an English Medium School under the Banner of its Gov ing Authority Shree Ahinsa Prachar Samity.
The School was established in the year 1960 , on an auspicious day of Ramnavami , under the banner of its governing authority Shree Ahinsa Prachar Samity . The founder secretary of the School was Sri Nagarmal Jain . As an infant it was a Co – Eduational Hindi medium school with only 40 students and 5 teachers . Later it transformed from Co – Ed to only girls school . The School is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1967 & West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in 1978 ( Arts & Commerce stream English and Hindi Medium ) . At present Mr. Santosh Kumar Jain is the secretary of the school . He is a renowned industrialist . For the past Six years he is the ” Mentor” and Igniting Spirit of the school along with Mr Ashok Sethi who is the honorary joint secretary.
Objective:
We aim at providing literary , moral and cultural education to the children . Hence our every endeavour is made to build up their character so as to make them good and successful citizens of the country .
We aim at inculcating in the child a sense of self pride , of belonging to the School which is reflected in cuscipline and proper conduct both in and outside the school .
We aim maintaining the highest standard of moral value to provide opportunities for creative imeration of the children.
